There is a shortage of life-saving medicines in Karachi.
According to sources, medicines for diabetes, blood pressure and heart diseases are not available.
The spokesperson of the Sindh Health Department says that the patients of the government hospitals have complained about the shortage of medicines.
The spokesman says that till now the administration has not given us a request regarding the fund, it should never happen that there is a shortage of medicines.
He said that medicines are not made by the company, if the medicine company does not make medicines, will there be a shortage in Sindh or the whole of Pakistan?
The spokesperson also says that the federal government had given an assurance on the issue of drugs, most of the drug manufacturing companies are in Karachi.
