Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) withdrew from the tournament 4 days before the start of the President’s Trophy, a first-class tournament for departmental teams.
After the resumption of departmental cricket, the President’s Trophy consisting of eight departmental teams was scheduled to start from December 16. The draws included SNGPL, SSGC, WAPDA, KRL, PTV, HEC, State Bank and Ghani Glass teams included.
Four days before the event, the SSGC has decided to withdraw from the event, informed the PCB.
According to the sources, SSGC’s preparations for the event were complete, but the top officials of the organization refused to allow the team to participate in the event at the last moment.

Earlier, National Bank, KPT and Port Qasim also withdrew from the tournament.
