Islamabad: The five-year-old contempt of court petition filed against Nawaz Sharif was set for hearing.
According to details, a contempt of court petition was filed against PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif in 2018 in the Islamabad High Court for his anti-judiciary speeches.
This application has been fixed for hearing after five years, which will be heard by the Chief Justice Islamabad High Court on Wednesday, November 15.
The Registrar’s Office issued the causelist for determining the case.
A contempt of court petition against Nawaz Sharif was filed by local citizen Adnan Iqbal. In the petition, court action was requested against Nawaz Sharif for his statements of 2018.
