Rawalpindi: Closure of Holy Family Hospital for upgradation and renovation project is causing hardship to patients and citizens.
Problems faced by patients due to complete closure of Holy Family Hospital Dr. Shafi Niazi, president of Pring Doctor Association Holy Family Hospital, says that patients are facing problems due to complete closure of the hospital.
He said that instead of closing the entire hospital, each block should have been renovated separately. He said that the valuable equipment of the hospital is deteriorating under the open sky.
Medical Superintendent Holy Family Hospital Dr. Ijaz Butt says that the patients of the hospital have been transferred to four other hospitals, the hospital building has been handed over to the C&W Department and valuable equipment has been shifted to the old building.
MS said that there will be no upgradation and renovation work in the old building, MRI and CT scan machine rooms have been locked.
He said that the upgradation and renovation work of the hospital will be completed in three months, which will cost two billion rupees.
