Lahore: The district administration gave permission to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a rally on October 22 in Kahana area of Lahore.
The district administration gave permission for the rally in constituency NA 123 Kahna on the request of PTI.
Earlier, the district administration of Lahore refused to allow Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf to hold a rally at Liberty Chowk, on which PTI approached the Lahore High Court. While hearing the petition, the court had said that if PTI is not allowed, then no one should be allowed to hold the rally.
The court had sought a response from the district administration, on which the Deputy Commissioner’s Office submitted a response to the PTI’s request in the Lahore High Court and stated that the permission for the rally in Liberty was denied.
