Occupied Jerusalem: Israel’s communications minister stepped up efforts to close the local office of the Qatari news station (Al-Jazeera) after exposing Israeli military attacks in Gaza.
According to the foreign news agency “Reuters”, Shlomo Karhi described the Al Jazeera news channel as “propaganda” and said that it is a station that incites Hamas supporters, it is a station that reflects Israeli soldiers outside Gaza. The blockade endangers the lives of soldiers and incites hatred against Israeli citizens.
“It is incomprehensible that a message from a Hamas spokesman was broadcast by the Al Jazeera news station, ‘I hope we end this today,'” he said on local radio. On the other hand, Al Jazeera and the government in Doha did not immediately comment.
