The Lahore High Court reserved its decision on Khadija Shah’s bail pleas in the Askari Tower and Jinnah House attack cases.

The hearing on the bail applications of social activist Khadija Shah was held in the Lahore High Court. A 2-member bench headed by Justice Alia Neelam reserved judgment on the petitions.

Expressing displeasure at not presenting the relevant records, the court inquired whether Khadija Shah is named in the FIR, to which the Special Prosecutor replied that Khadija Shah is not named in the FIR. He is accused of raising slogans against the state and his statement was recorded after the identification parade. She continued to incite people present at the venue against the government and also uploaded pictures from her account.

The court said that protesting is the culture of our society. When a leader gives a call, people come out to protest. You cannot stop someone from protesting. Don’t go into so much detail that you have a hard time tomorrow.

The court inquired what was illegal in Khadija Shah’s statement. It is illegal to say that the honor of mothers and sisters is not protected. Did you confirm the account and the tweet from the Twitter management on which the special prosecutor said that Khadija Shah herself calls this account her account.

The court said that Khadija Shah also filed a bail application. The police submitted a report in this application. The special prosecutor replied that there is no information regarding the bail application.
