For K-electric customers, electricity will be more expensive by Rs 4.45 paise per unit

Islamabad: The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPR) has approved to increase the price of electricity by four rupees 45 paise per unit for K-electric consumers.

Nepra, while hearing a petition filed by K Electric, approved the hike in unit price for the first quarter adjustment of the previous financial year.

According to Nepra, the additional charges from K-Electric customers will be made in the October and November 2023 bills.

Immediately after the approval of Nepra, the federal government also issued a notification to increase the price of electricity for K-electric consumers.
