Citizens say that milk is being sold for 220 and 230 rupees per liter in some places in the city.
In this regard, a shopkeeper says that if we get milk from the wholesalers at a low rate, we will also give it, the government’s emphasis is on the shops.
The shopkeeper said that the government does not pressure milk markets and wholesalers to reduce prices.
It should be noted that Commissioner Karachi had issued a notification of new milk prices yesterday.
According to the new prices, the wholesale price of milk has been fixed at Rs 188 while the retail price has been fixed at Rs 200 per litre.
