Peshawar: An explosion occurred during the Friday sermon at a mosque in Hangu, injuring several people.
After 25 people were killed and dozens injured in an explosion near a mosque in Balochistan’s Mastung area, an explosion in a mosque in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Hangu also reportedly injured several people.
According to initial reports, the blast took place at a mosque inside the Doaba police station, in which several people were reportedly injured.
According to SHO Shabraz Khan, the blast occurred during the last Friday sermon. There were 30 to 40 worshipers inside the mosque at the time of the explosion.
As soon as the explosion was reported, law enforcement agencies and rescue teams reached the spot.
