On the 14th day of the ongoing Pakistan Theater Festival at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Grips Theater Group presented a children’s play, “Plays postponed due to conspiracy”.
At the ongoing Pakistan Theater Festival at the Arts Council Karachi, Grips Theater Group presented a children’s theater “Game Postponed Due to Conspiracy”, directed by Yasmin Ismail and writer Imran Aslam.
Through this game, a tribute was paid to the famous director Yasmin Ismail.
The music and songs in the theater were composed by renowned actor Khalid Anam. Faiza Qazi, K Sujeeruddin, Khalid Anam, Ayesha Sheikh, Umeed Riaz, Maria Hussain Sheikh, Ruqiya Riaz, Yasin Bizenjo and Mahmood Akhtar won the hearts of children with their excellent performances.
The story of “Game Postponed Due to Conspiracy” revolves around four children from the provinces of Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa who all live in the same society building and love the game of cricket, land owner Khassar. Fushar is fed up with them and wants to sell his building to a foreign corporation, in an attempt to sow discord among the children so that their families move out of the building.
In the play basically the children unite and pave the way to foil the dastardly plot of Khashar Fushar.
The great performance of the artists in this play was well appreciated.
