Lahore: Zeba Begum Ali, the wife of the famous actress of the past who ruled the Pakistani film industry for many years and the actor who was nicknamed the emperor of emotions, Zeba Begum Ali saw seventy-eight (78) springs of life.
Actress Zeba Begum, popularly known as Garia in the Lollywood industry, was born on September 10, 1945, and as soon as she entered the Pakistan film industry, she made everyone her favorite with her timeless acting.
Zeba Begum started her film journey in 1962 with the film ‘Chirag Jalta Raha’ and acted in more than ninety films throughout her career and her film duo with Waheed Murad became popular.
Zeba Begum also set a record by doing more than fifty films opposite her husband actor Muhammad Ali and her popular films include Touba, Essa Bhi Hota Hai, Insan Aur Aadmi, Mohabbate, Baaji, Kaniz, Bahu Rani.
Zeba Ali, who has won numerous awards including the Nigar Award in her film career, was also awarded the Hilal Imtiaz by the Government of Pakistan in 2015.
