Karachi: FIA Immigration Jinnah Terminal Airport has been provided with modern technology based equipment by the Australian Federal Police.
According to the sources, in the context of an important initiative to secure border security, to prevent fake visas and human trafficking, the Australian Federal Police has provided equipment based on modern technology to FIA Immigration Karachi Airport.
The kits provided also include magnifying glasses, ultraviolet radiation lights, security laminate, very fireproof. Passport and visa checking was started at the immigration counters through the 17 devices provided.
Through modern equipment it will be possible to identify travelers with fake passports and visas.
The devices will be used regularly by the staff on international arrivals and departures, the sources said, based on the latest equipment kits provided by the Australian Federal Police to improve the efficiency of the FIA.
