Karachi: Railway police foiled the robbery attempt in Hazara Express, arrested 2 robbers and recovered the weapons.
According to the spokesperson of the Railway Police, the Railway Police personnel showed bravery and arrested 2 robbers who boarded the 12 Down Hazara Express in bogie number 11 at Jangshahi and Landhi station. When they saw Constable Tanveer Ashraf and STI Azam coming near the toilet while checking in the train, they started firing.
According to the railway spokesperson, the two officers bravely fought the robbers and arrested them, who were identified as Raza Ali and Muneeb Hussain, while their previous criminal record has also come to light and District Police Haider has registered against them. 14 cases are registered in various police stations of Abad.
The Landhi Railway Police has registered a case against the arrested dacoits while senior railway officials have felicitated the bravery of the railway police men.
