Hotel owners said that a cup of tea costing Rs 60 has become Rs 70 due to the high price of sugar.
On the other hand, in Peshawar too, the price of tea has been increased at tea houses and dhabas due to the high price of sugar.
In Peshawar, there has been an increase of Rs 30 on large tea cans, which are now available at Rs 150 instead of Rs 120.
A medium-sized tea bag has increased from Rs 50 to Rs 80.
