Dengue started spreading in Karachi, 7 cases reported in 24 hours

Karachi: Dinghy cases are increasing across the province, in the last 24 hours, 9 cases of dinghy have been reported in Sindh, out of which 7 are from Karachi.

In the report issued by the Sindh Health Department, it is stated that 9 dengue cases were reported from across the province during the last 24 hours, of which 7 are from Karachi.

After the recent cases were reported, the number of cases reported in Sindh this year has increased to 896, of which 731 are from Karachi.

According to the data released by the Sindh Health Department, two of the 9 cases were reported from Hyderabad. In the last 24 hours, maximum 4 dengue cases were reported from Karachi’s East district, while two cases were reported from South district and 1 case from Malir district.

2 cases have come to light in the last 24 hours in Thatta district of Hyderabad.

According to the report, 156 cases of dengue have been reported in Sindh so far this month, of which 130 cases were related to Karachi, 20 cases were related to Hyderabad and 3 cases were related to Mirpur Khas while Larkana, Sukkur and Shaheed Benazirabad were reported.

Among the cases reported from Karachi this month, the highest number of dengue cases, 72, came from Karachi East District, while this month, 19 from Central District, 21 from South District, 3 from West District, 7 from Malir District and 7 from Korangi and Kemari districts. Four, four dinghy cases were reported.

This year, 896 cases of dengue were reported in Sindh, of which 731 were reported from Karachi, 103 from Hyderabad, 31 from Mirpur Khas, 14 from Larkana, while 13 from Sukkur and 4 from Shaheed Benazirabad. have gone

It should be noted that no death due to dinghy has been reported this year, last year 2022 23274 cases were reported in the province.
