Karachi: Anti-Narcotics Force recovered more than 266 kg of drugs and 20250 liters of prohibited chemicals and arrested 5 suspects during the crackdown against drug trafficking.
According to ANF spokesperson, a total of 1 kg 320 grams of ice was recovered from 2 parcels at the courier office in Karachi, the said parcels were booked for Hong Kong and Bahrain.
270 grams of ice was recovered from the parcel sent to Bahrain and 50 grams from the book parcel for Hong Kong at the courier office located on Shahrah-e-Faisal.
According to the spokesman, during an operation, 122 kilos of hashish hidden in the secret compartments of the vehicle near the hub were seized and two suspects were arrested. The arrested suspects were trying to smuggle drugs from Quetta to Karachi.
In another operation, 15000 liters of hydrochloric acid and 5250 liters of sulfuric acid were seized from Chaman, the said chemicals were hidden in Kili Abdul Rahman for smuggling purposes.
Similarly, in the operation at Peshawar Airport, 50 capsules filled with heroin were recovered from the stomach of the accused. The accused, a resident of Peshawar, was leaving for Bahrain by flight number GF-787.
30 kg of opium and 100 kg of 800 grams of hashish were recovered from the vehicle in a private housing society near Islamabad Airport, 1 nine mm and 30 bore pistol with ammunition were also recovered from the vehicle. Arrested.
100 narcotic pills were recovered from the accused resident of Karachi on Kuri Road Islamabad while 12 kg hashish hidden for smuggling was recovered from Zakha Khel area of Khyber.
According to the spokesperson of ANF, further investigations have been started by registering cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested accused.
