Karachi: The father killed his daughter and her friend by shooting in the name of honor.
According to the police, a shooting incident took place on Abul Hasan Isfahani Road, in which a boy and a girl were seriously injured. After receiving the information, the team arrived, but both the injured boy and the girl had died.
According to initial reports, the deceased youth has been identified as Ahsan, while the girl’s name is Larib. The deceased’s house is near the place of occurrence and Ahsan Waqar son of Rais Ahmad Gulshan Iqbal was a resident. The police arrested the girl’s father and brother for the murder of both.
The dead bodies were shifted to the hospital. The police say that the deceased girl’s father Rafiq Sheikh and brother Abdullah have confessed to firing. The deceased had gone to meet his friend Larib at her house in Sohrab Goth area. Larib was riding in his Rio car with Ahsan Waqar. Larib’s father, Dr. Rafiq Shaikh, fired with his licensed pistol and killed Larib and Ahsan.
The father of the deceased Larib has admitted that he killed both of them in the name of honor.
