Afghan openers made a record partnership against Pakistan

Afghanistan’s openers put together the biggest partnership for any wicket against Pakistan.

In the second match of the series being played in Hambantota, Afghan team’s opener Rahmanullah Garbaz and Ibrahim Zadran established an opening partnership of more than 157 runs.

Rahmanullah Garbaz scored 90 off 111 balls with the help of 7 fours and three sixes while Ibrahim Zadaran scored 56 runs supporting him.

Pace Atek, who bowled brilliantly in the first ODI for Pakistan, could not get a wicket in the beginning.
