Islamabad;  Thousands of narcotic pills were recovered from a passenger bound for Manchester

Islamabad: ANF ​​recovered thousands of narcotic pills from a Manchester-bound passenger in an operation.

According to the spokesman of the Anti-Narcotics Force, 2 thousand 990 narcotic pills were recovered from the trolley bag of a passenger going to Manchester by flight number PK 705 at Islamabad International Airport, on which the accused resident of Azad Kashmir was arrested.

On the other hand, 62 ice and 30 hashish filled capsules were recovered from the stomach of a passenger traveling to Doha by flight number QR 601 at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan International Airport. The accused is said to be a resident of Charsadda.

Meanwhile, ANF has successfully conducted an operation against drug trafficking and arrested all the operatives of the group of international traffickers from Karachi. Acting on a tip-off, the operation was carried out in Karachi’s Federal B Area Block 10 Naseerabad. The accused named Farqan Saeed Siddiqui was supposed to smuggle drugs through watches.

2 watches were recovered from the house of the accused, out of which 800 grams of hidden ice was seized. After further investigation, the accused revealed that a woman resident of Karachi is also involved in this group. This group has smuggled drugs in watches many times in the Gulf and Arab countries. On the identification of the accused, the accused has also been arrested.

Meanwhile, in a joint operation of ANF and FC in Khyber, 49 kg of hashish was recovered from plastic bags on the Pak-Afghan border.

ANF ​​has registered a case under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the accused arrested in all the operations and started investigation.
