More rains are expected in Punjab today from 23rd to 29th July.

According to the spokesperson of PDMA, there is a possibility of continuous increase in the water level in Chenab and Ravi rivers in 48 knees due to which there is a possibility of medium to high level floods in both the rivers.
Spokesperson PDMA warned that there is a risk of moderate to high level flooding in the Jhelum river as well.
According to the PDMA spokesperson, the water level in Indian dams has also risen to a dangerous level.
In this regard, DG PDMA Imran Qureshi has issued instructions to ensure the evacuation of people from the low-lying areas and to ensure the end of encroachment from the water passages.
