Two people were injured due to gas leakage in Korangi’s ice factory, the police arrested the owner of the factory.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Korangi Tariq Nawaz says that ammonia nitrogen and hydrogen (NH3) gas was released in an ice factory established for two years in Sector 50A of Korangi.
SSP Korangi says that a one-and-a-half-year-old girl and a 70-year-old woman Rehmat Bibi were affected by the gas leak, both the victims were discharged from the hospital after first aid.
After the incident, agitation spread in the area and a large number of people gathered outside the ice rink, the police were also present at the spot to control the situation.
