Marriage during Idda is a crime, the court declared Bushra Bibi's illegal marriage case admissible

Islamabad: The court declared the illegal marriage case admissible and issued notices to Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi.

There has been an important development in the case of marriage during Eid related to Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi, according to which the District and Sessions Court Islamabad has declared the petition against Chairman PTI admissible.

The local court of Islamabad has issued notices to chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi in the case of marriage during Eid.

Detailed decision is pending

Later, the District and Sessions Court of Islamabad issued a detailed decision to hear the petition against Chairman PTI in the illegal marriage case.

In the 9-page detailed judgment issued by Civil Judge Qudratullah, it is written that according to the petitioner, Bushra Bibi got married to Chairman PTI during Eid. According to Nikah Khawan Mufti Saeed, he conducted the marriage ceremony of chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi twice. According to Nikah Khawan, the first marriage was conducted on January 1, 2018, and the second marriage was conducted in February.

According to the written decision, after the marriage in January, Bushra Bibi was informed that she was in Iddah. The marriage ceremony was told to the bridegroom in the presence of witness Aun Chaudhry. According to the petitioner, the first marriage took place in Lahore while the second marriage took place in Islamabad. After the first marriage, Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi started living together in Bani Gala.

In its detailed judgment, the court said that marriage during Idda is alleged to be a crime. Living together as husband and wife is the result of an alleged illegal marriage. The matter falls under the jurisdiction of the court as Bani Gala is within the limits of Islamabad. Chairman PTI and Bushra Bibi were issued notices to appear on July 20.

It should be noted that after hearing the case yesterday, Judicial Magistrate Qudratullah reserved the decision, which has been issued today, according to which the illegal marriage case has been declared admissible.
