24 students from Pakistan, participants in US space camp

Karachi: 24 students from different schools of Pakistan are currently participating in the Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering (STEM) camp in America.

24 male and female students from three schools in Karachi are participating in the space camp of the American Space and Rocket Center with the financial support of the American government. This space camp is being held in Huntsville, Alabama.

The activity was organized in collaboration with the US Consulate General Karachi and the Dawood Foundation, with the aim of promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in 50 schools in Karachi.

This U.S. grant consists of three parts: STEM training for 100 Pakistani teachers and an educational tour for more than 1,000 students at the Magnify Science Center and a final science project competition. To encourage. So that they allocate more resources for staff training and get better training results.

This, in turn, will encourage students to pursue careers in science fields, thereby helping to meet the growing demand for STEM graduates in industry, academia and research. For a long time, the United States has been continuously supporting the promotion of STEM education in Pakistan through various educational programs.

The United States encourages inclusive STEM education, green technologies and entrepreneurship for young people around the world, so that they can serve in the sustainable development of their countries’ economies.

American Consul General Nicole Theriot expressed happiness on this occasion and said that “we have been able to send such intelligent and talented young students to the space camp in America, who will develop Pakistan through environment-friendly technologies and entrepreneurship with creativity.” There is a reward for those students who have determination.
