15 days have passed since the incident that happened to the girl in Gulestan Johar area of Karachi, but the police are still unable to catch the accused. Several suspects were detained but the main suspect involved in the incident is still breathing freely and defying the law.
On July 3, a nasty incident took place with a girl in Gulistan-Johar area, the CCTV footage of which also went viral. In the footage, the accused is seen wearing a surgical mask to hide his identity, while his motorcycle is also without a number plate.
After the incident, the police searched for the victim but she refused to take legal action, after which the police registered a case in the official complaint and also set up a high-level committee.
So far no concrete progress has been made in the investigation of the incident and the accused involved in the incident is still out of the grasp of the police.
The police also made a sketch of the accused, on the basis of which several suspects were detained, but the real accused could not be caught.
The police recorded the statements of around 250 people and obtained more than 100 CCTV footages, but the face of the accused could not be identified in any of them.
Even the geo-fencing of the crime scene did not help, the police are still unable to catch the accused.
