The income tax department raided the house of a YouTuber named Taslim in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh because he had earned more than one crore rupees from his videos alone.
According to media reports, Taseelam is being accused of earning this money illegally, but Taseelam’s family has denied these allegations.
Taslim’s brother Feroze says that Taslim makes videos related to the stock market while he also pays taxes on his earnings.
He also said that he had also paid tax of Rs 4 lakh to the authorities on his earnings of Rs 120 lakh from YouTube.
On the other hand, the Income Tax Department says that Rs 24 lakh cash has been recovered from Taslim’s house.
Feroze says we don’t do anything wrong, we run our YouTube channel which earns us good income and it’s true. It feels like our home has been raided in a planned conspiracy.
On the other hand, Taslim’s mother has also rejected the allegations against her son and said that an attempt is being made to trap her son with forgery.
