Indian water offensive, dozens of villages submerged in Ganda Singhwala

Dozens of villages in Ganda Singhwala have been flooded after India released the water, the villagers have started moving to safer areas under your help.

In the next 24 to 48 hours, moderate to high level flooding is expected in Sutlej Gandasinghwala river.

A flood of 185,000 cusecs coming from India is moving towards Shahdara Lahore from Jasad, the crops have been damaged in the border areas of Shakargarh on the banks of the Ravi River.

In Jhang, the flow of flood water in Chenab river continues to increase, 48 thousand people in 40 villages around have been affected while crops and communication roads have also been submerged.

On the other hand, Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi visited the flooded area in Jhang and reviewed the arrangements.
