Israel’s Foreign Ministry has confirmed that 120 Israeli citizens have been cut off due to severe flooding in India.

According to the Israeli diplomat in Delhi, 120 Israeli citizens in northern India are still out of touch. The embassy, other Israelis and local authorities are trying to contact the missing citizens.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in its statement that the department established to assist Israelis abroad has received several inquiries regarding missing citizens in the past few hours.
The statement said that according to the consulate located in Delhi, the reason for this is the failure of the communication system due to bad weather, signals are not coming in several areas.
The Israeli Foreign Ministry said that efforts are being made to contact the Israeli tourists along with all other parties.
It should be noted that the Indian authorities are prohibiting tourists from going out on the streets.
Dozens of people have died due to heavy floods in the north of the country, many bridges have been destroyed, roads have been blocked and buildings have collapsed.
