Karachi: The task force formed by the Inspector General Police Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon was entrusted with the task of full crackdown against drug dealers.

According to the sources of Central Police Office, IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon called an important meeting of the task force in the past few days in which additional IG Special Branch, DIG Special Branch, Crime Branch and other officers participated. , informed the details regarding the ongoing actions against Mawe.

SP Clifton Ahmed Chaudhry, Zafar Chhanga and SP Liaquatabad Ayaz Hussain, who are part of the task force, gave a detailed briefing. 132 cases have been registered against the accused sellers and 154 accused have been arrested, the task force has conducted raids in different areas of the city and registered 41 cases in Gatka, Mawa in which 53 accused have been arrested.
