Jamiat Ulema Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has appreciated the role of Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf for running the proceedings of the National Assembly in a smooth manner.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman met Speaker Raja Pervez Ashraf in Islamabad. Maulana Asad Mehmood, Khurram Parvez Raja and Shahrukh Raja were present on this occasion.
Important political and economic issues were discussed in the meeting, Maulana Fazlur Rehman sought the welfare of the speaker regarding the accident that happened in the past few days.
The Speaker told the JUI chief that the previous government saved the country from crises, the coalition government presented a people-friendly budget despite the difficulties.
On this occasion, Fazlur Rehman appreciated the role of the Speaker for running the proceedings of the House smoothly.
The JUI chief further said that the role of Parliament is of key importance to bring the country out of crisis, the government is playing an important role to bring economic stability in the country.
