Holy Quran Day is being celebrated across the country

Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi: In Sweden, today the Holy Quran Day is being celebrated across the country against the desecration of the Holy Quran.

On the instructions of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the people associated with every class of thought at the official and non-official level across the country are strongly condemning the incident of burning the Holy Quran by an accursed person in Sweden.

Apart from the federal and provincial capitals, protest rallies are being held in other small and big cities of the country, while political and social parties and organizations are also conducting nationwide demonstrations against the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.

A condemnation resolution has been passed by the Supreme Court Bar Association against the Sweden incident. On the other hand, the Sindh High Court Bar Association has also demanded the government to counter this nefarious conspiracy at the diplomatic level, close the embassy and boycott the products, on the incident of desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden.

Apart from this, Senator Kamran Michael, the central president of the Muslim League-N Minority Wing and the president of the Pakistan Christian Council of Pakistan, has said in his condemnation statement that the desecration of the Holy Quran in Sweden is unacceptable. The Christians of Pakistan actively participate in the protest against this incident and condemn it.

Meanwhile, the Christian community and their religious leaders in different cities of the country registered their protest against the Sweden incident. It has been demanded in the ongoing statements in this regard that by taking strict action against the people involved in this heinous incident, it should be ensured that such incidents do not take place in the future.

Meanwhile, a protest rally was held in Gujarat against the Sweden incident, in which the participants carried placards and banners condemning the Sweden incident.

Business organizations in Karachi have announced to close business for 2 hours as a protest after Friday prayers. Apart from this, Sweden incident is being strongly condemned in protest rallies at different places.
