Swat: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police arrested former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Provincial Minister for Housing Dr. Amjad and City Mayor Shahid Ali Khan.
According to the police spokesperson, the two leaders named in the May 9 cases have been arrested by raiding Dr. Amjad’s house. According to police sources, Dr. Amjad is being arrested and taken to jail.
Dr. Amjad’s family members say that the former provincial minister had obtained protective bail from the court in May 9 cases, the police entered the house at night without a warrant and forcibly took him away.
The family said that the police did not tell us anything and took them with them to an unknown location.
