According to YouTube, the policy, which came into effect on August 21, now strictly requires YouTubers creating fan accounts to make it clear that it is not the celebrity’s own channel and is not a true spokesperson for that institution, personality or celebrity. . This is because the fan channel continues to mislead people by broadcasting direct information and videos. This is the reason why celebrities themselves are very angry about it.
YouTube has said that ‘the platform channel must make it clear that its name and other details do not belong to the original creator.’
Also, if using the same name and avatar, there will be a slight change from the original channel. According to YouTube, this will allow a clear distinction between the identification of original creators and their fans or content providers.
