Karachi: As far as TRP of TV channels and views on YouTube are concerned, Pakistani dramas are doing very well, but in the last few years, the content of the dramas has not gained much popularity.
Ali Safina is a Pakistani actor who has been a part of the industry for years and has given very enduring performances in some dramas. In a recent private show, he exposed the reality of many playwrights and how teams are writing scripts and why the situation is so bad.
The pitiful scripts of most of the dramas are based on the formulas of love division and sisterly rivalry and 99% of the scripts show hatred. This problem has been addressed in the script over the years, but no improvements have been made so far.
Ali Safina further said that many writing teams make small changes in the old stories and name the new script. Also, the writer is never given enough time or money to deliver a good script.
The actor also said that the writers are not paid well and they give bad scripts in return. He further said that the same writers wrote good plays for Green Entertainment, why? Because they were given good money from there.
