Unofficial party position of 25 Town Municipal Corporations of Karachi has been revealed, according to which People’s Party has won 13, Jamaat-e-Islami 9 and Tehreek-e-Insaf 3 TMCs.
The People’s Party has won three Town Municipal Corporations of Malir District, while in Korangi District, Jamaat-e-Islami has won two TMCs, one each, and the People’s Party and PTI have won one.
PPP has won 3 out of 5 TMCs in Eastern District while Jamaat-e-Islami has won 2. In 2 TMCs in South District, PPP has won one and Tehreek-e-Insaaf has won.
Out of the three TMCs of West District, the People’s Party has won 2, Tehreek-e-Insaaf has won one, while the Jamaat-e-Islami has won all the five TMCs of the Central District and the People’s Party has won all the three TMCs of Kemari District.
