Smoking and carrying shoppers are prohibited at Margalla Hills

The Islamabad administration has banned smoking and carrying garbage or plastic bags on visitors to Margalla Hills.

The Additional District Magistrate of Islamabad has issued a ban notification for those going to Margalla Hills, which will be applicable for the next two months from today.

The notification states that under Section 144, there will be a ban on smoking, burning garbage or plastic bags on Margalla Hills, while those who cut trees will also face legal action.

It has been written in the notification that action will be taken under Section 144 against those who violate the law.
