Lahore: Another mega corruption scandal of Chairman PTI’s family has been exposed, a case has been registered against former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister and brother-in-law for fraudulently purchasing billions of rupees.

According to the anti-corruption spokesperson Dr. Uzmi Khan, the sister of Chairman PTI, bought land worth billions of rupees for only 13 crores through fraud.

According to the spokesman, the fraudulently purchased area is worth more than 6 billion rupees. The area was purchased when the Asian Development Bank announced the Greater Thal Canal project, under which the plan was to irrigate barren lands through the Thal Canal.

The spokesperson has said that Dr. Uzma Khan already knew about the Thal Kanal project, Dr. Uzma Khan and her husband forcibly bought the land from the owners and transferred it to their names, on which the land owners filed a case against Dr. Uzma and others in the local police station. An anti-corruption spokesperson has said that some local people have also filed applications with the Justice of the Peace, the fraudulently purchased land was later illegally occupied.

The spokesman says that the role of other officers and officials involved in the fraud will be investigated while determining, the zero tolerance policy of anti-corruption against corrupt elements will continue.
