In the federal budget 2023-24, a proposal to cut more than 7 crore rupees in the development budget of the Ministry of Commerce is under consideration.
According to sources, a development budget of Rs 1 billion 10 crore has been proposed for the Ministry of Commerce.
It has also been proposed to keep funds for 2 ongoing and 1 new project of the Ministry of Commerce.
More than 807.4 million rupees for Quetta Expo Center, 9.25 million rupees for Peshawar Expo Center, 20 million rupees for Sialkot Expo Center project are under consideration.
Sources also say that earlier a development budget of 1 billion 17 crore 44 lakh rupees was allocated for the Ministry of Commerce.
