Islamabad: A case has been registered in the heartbreaking incident of murder of a 7-year-old girl in Nai Abadi area of Bahara police station in the federal capital.
The IG has set up an investigation committee headed by the DIG Operations, but the police have not been able to arrest the accused so far.
According to the police, the incident has been registered in the complaint filed by the deceased girl’s uncle in Bahara Kahu police station.
The girl’s father lives in Dubai who divorced his wife a few years ago and the girl was staying with her grandfather who suddenly disappeared yesterday at twelve o’clock, after which the police recovered the body of the girl from Mubeen Haveli near the house. .
It has been said in the case that the unknown accused or the accused dragged the girl from the house for the purpose of adultery and killed her in the mansion of Mubeen. The plaintiff has demanded strict legal action against the accused.
On the other hand, police sources say that since the incident, many suspicious persons have been interrogated and various samples have been sent for the medical examination of the victim, the reports of which will be clear whether the victim was raped or not.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of Islamabad Capital Police has said that apparently no evidence of rape has been found before the murder, the final conclusion will be drawn after the post-mortem report.
