The accused fled from the spot
Islamabad: The head constable was martyred as a result of firing on the police party that went to arrest the wanted dacoit in the limits of Karpa police station in the federal capital, while the accused escaped from the spot.
Efforts are being made to trace the accused with the help of Safe City cameras. According to police sources, the police party of Karpa police station was deployed to arrest the members of the wanted dacoit gang, where the police party raided to arrest the accused.
So the armed accused opened fire on the police as a result of which Karpa Police Head Constable Ahmed Yar was martyred.
The police have taken the body into custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. On the other hand, two separate police teams have been formed to arrest the accused.
A separate team is tracking the accused with the help of Safe City cameras. SSP Operations Malik Jameel Zafar reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported, after which he also went to the hospital. He has immediately ordered the arrest of the accused.
