People’s Party member Ghazala Sial moved an adjournment motion in the Sindh Assembly session regarding the increase in petrol prices.
Energy Minister Imtiaz Shaikh, while responding to the adjournment motion, said that OGRA determines the prices of petrol, and the provinces should be taken into confidence on any decision.
Ghazala Syal withdrew the adjournment motion on government assurance.
Apart from this, the Sindh Local Government Act amendment bill was approved by majority vote in the House.
Sindh Local Government Act Amendment Bill was presented by Mukesh Chawla in the House.
Mukesh Kumar Chawla said that anyone can contest for mayor, town chairman and council candidate, the selected candidate has to contest the UC chairman election within 6 months and become part of the regular house.
