Karachi: 2 suspects involved in buying and selling foreign currency arrested

The investigation has been started by registering a case against the arrested accused, said FIA spokesperson (Photo: File).

Karachi: FIA Commercial Banking Circle Karachi arrested the suspects involved in buying and selling foreign currency during the operation.

According to the spokesperson of FIA, the team under the supervision of Deputy Director Commercial Banking Circle Karachi Rabia Qureshi on the instructions of Director Karachi Zone arrested 2 suspects involved in buying and selling foreign currency without license.

Accused Mohammad Saqib and Aamir Hussain were arrested from Gulshan Iqbal, from whose possession USD 10,000, Rs 1,950,000 and receipts related to handi reference were recovered.

Apart from this, several messages related to handi reference and illegal currency exchange were also found from the mobile phones of the accused.

A case has been registered against the arrested accused and investigation has been started.
