During the successful operation of security forces in Miran Shah area of North Waziristan, 7 terrorists including terrorist commander Mehtab alias Lala have been arrested.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Pakistan Army, ISPR, the security forces conducted an operation based on a tip-off about the presence of terrorists in the Miran Shah area of North Waziristan, as a result of which a terrorist commander belonging to the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group, known as Mehtab, was killed. 7 terrorists including Lala were arrested.
The arrested terrorists were involved in several acts of terrorism and killing of innocent civilians, including attacks on security forces.
ISPR said that the local people of the area appreciated the action of the security forces and assured their cooperation in ending the menace of terrorism.
