Karachi: State Bank has declared a public holiday on May 1 on the occasion of Labor Day.
According to the notification, Bank Daulat Pakistan will remain closed on Monday 1st May 2023 on the occasion of “Labour Day” as a public holiday as announced by the Government of Pakistan.
In a statement issued by the SBP, it has been said that all the centers of the State Bank will also remain closed on Friday, May 1, 2023 due to the public holiday on the occasion of Labor Day.
The notification states that all private banks will also have a public holiday on Labor Day.
