Iran's announcement to start trade with Saudi Arabia

The Minister of Industry and Trade of Iran has said that Iran and Saudi Arabia are starting trade with mutual consent.

Iranian Minister Reza Fatemi Amin says that allowing Iranian goods to enter Saudi Arabia in the context of restoring relations is included in the agenda.

According to foreign media, Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian and his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, signed a joint statement on April 6 at the end of talks held in Beijing, the capital of China.

According to reports, the purpose of the agreement was to restore diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia, which had been deadlocked for several years.
