The spokesperson of the National Assembly has said that the resigned members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) cannot participate in the meeting.
In a statement, the spokesperson said that the Speaker National Assembly took the decision after consulting with constitutional experts.
He said that the Sindh High Court suspended the Election Commission’s notification regarding the resignations of PTI members, the court did not give any decision regarding the decision of the speaker of the National Assembly.
The spokesman says that the resigned members are no longer members of the National Assembly, any resigned member cannot be allowed to come to the House.
He also says that according to the National Assembly Rules, no stranger can enter the House.
It should be noted that earlier PTI Member National Assembly Aftab Siddiqui has said that today we will participate in the assembly session.
He said that PTI members reached Islamabad to participate in the meeting.
The PTI members are of the opinion that the court has sent our resignations back to the assembly.
