Lahore: In the city of gardens, Lahore, the weather became pleasant this morning with light rain, while every face opened up on the first day of Eid-ul-Fitr and the happiness of the citizens doubled.
According to the Meteorological Department, light rain and cold winds will continue in the provincial capital while there is a possibility of rain in Punjab including Lahore. This morning, the weather suddenly changed due to drizzle in Gulberg, Garhi Shahu, Jail Road, Ferozepur Road and other areas and the citizens expressed their happiness due to the cold winds.
It should be noted that the winds and clouds coming from the west engulfed the sky and atmosphere, which broke the heat. Experts say that there is a possibility of intermittent rain during the next 24 hours.
Meanwhile, WASA had already issued an alert in view of the rain and in this regard all the employees were directed to be present in the field for drainage. According to MD Vasa, the holidays of employees and officers are canceled during the Eid holidays.
