Maulana Fazlur Rehman refused to negotiate with PTI

Islamabad: Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and JUI chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has once again refused to hold any talks and negotiations with PTI.

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met Maulana Fazlur Rehman at his residence and conveyed the important message of former President Asif Ali Zardari. According to the sources, positive progress was made in the meeting between PPP and PDM leadership, but no consensus could be reached on further consultation for political dialogue.

Sources said that in the meeting, it will be decided to hold a meeting of the coalition parties after Eid-ul-Fitr and negotiate with PTI. The two leaders agreed that through political dialogue a unanimous decision will be taken to get the country out of the crisis.

In the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto conveyed the party’s message to the PDM chief to negotiate with the PTI, but Maulana Fazlur Rehman refused to give any immediate answer and said that Imran Khan is not trustworthy and neither is he. He is a political figure, who will guarantee that he will not renege on his promises.

According to sources, Bilawal Bhutto tried to convince Maulana Fazlur Rehman that in politics the doors are open for dialogue. On this, the JUI chief said that Imran Khan is not a political force, he is a mehra. On your request, I will consult my party, then a decision will be taken.

Later, sources said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman refused to negotiate with PTI once again after consulting his close associates, however, on the insistence of Bilawal Bhutto, Maulana asked for more time for consultation.

The head of JUI said that there will be no positive result of negotiation process with Imran Khan, PTI ruined Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in ten years.

Bilawal Bhutto once again made it clear that dialogue is the solution to all crises in a democracy, so Maulana Fazlur Rahman should reconsider his decision and opinion.
