The PTI UK delegation went to Downing Street to present a memorandum to Prime Minister Rishi Sonak yesterday.
On this occasion, PTI UK President Imran Khalil said that the purpose of presenting the memorandum was to make Britain aware of the ongoing human rights violations in Pakistan.
The memorandum mentions alleged human rights abuses in Pakistan and urges Britain to play a role in stopping human rights violations in Pakistan.
Amjad Bashir, a former member of the European Parliament, said that it is hoped that the British government will take notice of the human rights violations after looking at the memorial.
He further said that democracy is being harmed by suppressing the voice of opposition parties in Pakistan.
He also demanded to hold transparent elections in Pakistan soon.
