Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called a meeting of the federal cabinet today at 1 pm, there is a possibility of consultation regarding Punjab election funds.
Constitutional, legal and economic issues will be considered in the meeting and important national issues will also be discussed.
On the other hand, speaking in Geo News’ program ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzdah Saat’, Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah says that even if the money reaches the Election Commission, there is no use.
He said that the Supreme Court has sidelined the Federal Government and the Parliament.
Rana Sana said that the Supreme Court should also pass the country’s budget tomorrow, if an attempt is made to conduct the election through obstinacy, bullying, arrogance, rigging, unprincipled and unconstitutional methods, it will not be possible.
It should be noted that yesterday the Supreme Court ordered the State Bank to give 21 billion rupees to the Election Commission for the election in Punjab.
